History

.netTiers was started in 2004 as a pet project by Ryan Hurdon and first released as the DataLayer Creation Script on April 19th, 2004. Once it was initially released Mr. Hurdon had no time to continue the project. On September 9th, 2004 John Roland re-released the templates with many new features and created an open source home for the project for them at SourceForge.net. For the next two years the template set has grown both vertically in tiers and horizontally in features, all to make your job a whole lot easier. The two developers above are the reason that the .netTiers vision has maintained steadfast growth. Several team members have since then joined an in combination with the community have given countless amounts of irreplaceable time and effort to get .netTiers to the point where it is today. As a team and community unit, we vastly appreciate your every effort.
